Configuration Management Analyst

HealthTECH is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support the analysis, design, build, testing, and maintenance of claims system configuration at a Rhode Island-based health plan.

This is an entry to mid-level role with a wide scope. The organization uses HealthRules Payor as its primary claims platform, and you will be configuring benefit plans, adjudication rules, and supporting production deployments. You do not need HealthRules experience to apply. If you have configuration experience in another claims payer system (Facets, QNXT, or similar), the organization will train you on HealthRules. What matters is that you understand claims configuration fundamentals and can translate business requirements into system build.

This position is contract-to-hire, onsite in Smithfield, RI.

What You’ll Do

Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into configuration specifications. Build and configure benefit plans and adjudication rules. Execute configuration changes across multiple test environments, coordinating timelines with testing and project teams. Develop and run unit test cases and maintain configuration audit documentation. Serve as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams on testing results and remediation. Coordinate production turnovers upon business owner sign-off and validate post-production results. Maintain standard operating procedures for all configuration tasks. Identify gaps between business expectations and system limitations and recommend improvements.

What You Bring

• 2+ years in claims system configuration (HealthRules, Facets, QNXT, or similar payer platform)
• Prior experience in a healthcare or managed care organization
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate technical constraints back to the business
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
