HealthTECH is seeking a Sr. Epic Ambulatory Analyst for a direct hire position in in Fort Worth, TX. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Epic analyst, offering a blend of clinical system expertise and critical thinking skills. The position requires relocation to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, with a hybrid work schedule including office days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. If you are a Senior Epic Systems Analyst with Ambulatory certification, we’d be interested in speaking with you about this opening. Consideration for interview will depend upon whether applicants have current Epic Ambulatory certification(s).

Sr. Epic Ambulatory Analyst Primary Responsibilities

  • Independently plan, develop, test, install, maintain, and optimize Epic application(s) and related information technologies.
  • Establish, develop, and promote standard architectures, hardware, and software components.
  • Develop clinical and business solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow.
  • Act as a liaison among Information Services (IS), clinical end users, patient care departments, vendors, and other technical experts.
  • Support efforts to ensure safe patient care services by developing and delivering clinically and technically sound solutions.
  • Recommend process changes from risk and failure points evaluations, with necessary modifications to workflows and/or current procedures.
  • Modify applications as needed to meet user requirements and define and develop reports.
  • Participate in application upgrades, problem resolution, and the diagnosis of software failures.

Sr. Epic Ambulatory Analyst Key Qualifications

  • Must have 5 years minimum progressive experience as an Epic Analyst in a healthcare environment, with knowledge of and hands-on experience in build, implementation and support of Epic Ambulatory modules.
  • Current Epic Ambulatory certification.
  • A clinical background, such as a nurse, is a bonus.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration, Clinical Information Systems, Informatics, Information Technology, or Sciences. Equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable.
