HealthTECH Resources is seeking experienced Senior EHR Selection and Implementation SMEs to lead strategic EHR assessment and implementation projects for Tribal Health organizations throughout 2026 and 2027. Multiple opportunities available for seasoned consultants with unbiased multi-EHR expertise.

Opportunity Summary

• Multiple tribal health engagements across 2026-2027
• Remote-first opportunities (80% remote, 20% onsite)
• Lead strategic EHR selection and implementation phases
• Work directly with tribal health leadership teams

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive EHR system assessments and gap analysis
• Evaluate current state operations, workflows, and data architecture
• Coordinate and facilitate vendor demonstrations (Epic, Cerner, NextGen, Greenway, etc.)
• Provide unbiased recommendations for optimal EHR solutions
• Develop implementation roadmaps and strategic plans
• Lead Phase 1 (Selection) and potentially Phase 2 (Implementation) projects
• Collaborate with tribal health leadership on technology decisions

Key Qualifications

• Senior-level EHR consultant with 10+ years experience
• Proven experience implementing multiple different EHR systems
• Strong tribal health organization experience required
• RPMS/Cerner knowledge and expertise highly valued
• Unbiased approach to EHR selection – no vendor allegiance
• Deep understanding of healthcare IT ecosystem and system interoperability
• Recent implementation experience (within last 36 months preferred)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to lead strategic technology decisions independently
