Application Migration Project Manager

HealthTECH Resources is seeking an experienced Healthcare IT Application Migration Project Manager to lead application migration initiatives for recently acquired hospital systems. This role involves managing the transition of healthcare applications from legacy networks to enterprise network infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage 4-8 concurrent healthcare application implementation projects
• Oversee server environment setup and configuration for migrated applications
• Coordinate data migration and system integration activities
• Plan and execute user training programs for new systems
• Collaborate with IT teams across multiple hospital systems
• Ensure seamless transition with minimal operational disruption
• Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications
• Coordinate with vendors and technical teams throughout implementation phases

Key Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing healthcare IT application implementations
• Proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
• Experience with hospital system acquisitions/mergers preferred
• Strong understanding of healthcare applications (EHR, PACS, lab systems, etc.)
• Experience with server migrations and data center transitions
• Knowledge of healthcare network infrastructure and security requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• PMP certification preferred
• Experience with change management and user training
