Epic Project Director

HealthTECH is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Epic Project Director to join a significant Epic implementation project. This role will be instrumental in the successful implementation and rollout of the Epic EHR system across the organization, which includes two primary hospitals and various clinics and partnered spaces near Oklahoma City, OK. Flexibility to work onsite is required for this role.

Epic Project Director Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and execution of the full Epic EHR system across the healthcare organization.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of core Epic modules, including but not limited to: Cupid, Prelude, Radar, Slicer Dicer, Tapestry, Willow, Radiant, OpTime, MyChart/Bedside, Cogito, Clarity, and ClinDoc.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to staff project teams, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources and expertise.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular status updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful and on-time completion.

Epic Project Director Key Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Epic EHR Project Manager or Director, with a strong track record of successful implementations.
  • Epic Certification(s) strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Epic Cupid module is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
