HealthTECH Resources has urgent need for a seasoned Epic Grand Central Project Manager for a full-time, onsite contract position lasting through at least November 2020 at a hospital on the West Coast. The ideal candidate will have Epic Grand Central certification and 3-5 years’ experience of Epic Grand Central PM work, including full lifecycle Epic build/implementation at hospitals/clinics. Epic Grand Central Project Manager Responsibilities

  • In this Epic Project Manager role, you will utilize your background in Clinical Informatics and/or hospital project experience to support a new install of Epic Grand Central. Some of your responsibilities will be:
    • Acting as a central point of contact for all project activities of projects assigned.
    • Defining the requirements of projects (together with management), then planning deliverables and tasks (including task assignment) as required to meet those requirements.
    • Creating and maintaining all project documentation as needed and required for successful completion of projects assigned.
    • Managing the day-to-day activities of all projects assigned, including team meetings, resource management, measurement of project progress, revision of plans/tasks, and issues resolution.
    • Occasionally assist with Epic build as needed.

Epic Grand Central Project Manager Qualifications

Must have:

    • Certification in Epic Grand Central (current NVT).
    • 3-5 years’ experience of Epic Grand Central PM work, including full lifecycle Epic build/implementation at hospitals/clinics.
    • Capable of Epic build if needed.

Highly desired:

    • Preferably versed in converting from Teletracking to Epic.
    • Former Epic employees preferred.
    • Project management certification preferred — CAPM or PMP from Project Management Institute.
