Epic Beaker Application Coordinator

HealthTECH Resources is seeking an Epic Beaker Application Coordinator for a ten month contract position at a top-tier healthcare organization in CA. Interested applicants should be certified in Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) and Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) applications.

Duties of the Epic Beaker Application Coordinator

  • Build and test a new interface from ARUP system to Epic/Beaker system.
  • Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
  • Attends meetings to review end user and tracking and trending issues, workflow problems, system capabilities, monitoring feedback and potential system enhancement needs.
  • Perform in depth and precise investigation and documentation of future-state operation specifications and application functionality.
  • Will develop and document internal procedures, collect information and prepare specifications of system build.
  • Function as a primary contact to troubleshoot problems and questions from end-users.
  • Coordinates changes between the support and the implementation teams.

Epic Beaker Application Coordinator Experience/Skills

  • Required Certifications – Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology (CP) and Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP).
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the Epic Beaker application as well as understand the policies, procedures and constraints of Laboratory operations.
