Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

HealthTECH Resources is seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect for a 4 month contract position at a top-tier healthcare organization in CA. Interested applicants should have previous experience as an Enterprise Architect in a healthcare environment. Required to work on site at least 4 days/week, the 5th day may be remote.

Duties of the Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

  • In this role as an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect, you will work with the IT and program leadership to assess the infrastructure of two newly acquired sites for the hospital, and design a path to integrate remote locations with the existing enterprise IT infrastructure in a secure and industry compliant way.
  • You will work closely with the project, infrastructure, and network teams and others to conduct a detailed assessment of network, server, storage, and desktop technologies at the sites, develop an inventory of systems, devise a replacement/migration plan, and execute the implementation.
  • Must be able to meet aggressive deadlines and be agile with approach to solve complex problems with prudence to cost, security and compliance.

Enterprise Infrastructure Architect Experience/Skills

  • 10 or more years of experience in IT, with at least five years as Enterprise Architect — experience in the Healthcare domain is ***highly*** preferred.
  • Deep technical expertise with IT architecture and design, including physical/virtual platforms, network, storage and server technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing both physical and virtual infrastructure for large enterprises. This includes designing highly available, fault tolerant, secured infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience with analyzing the existing architecture and designing a migration path that meets enterprise architecture standards.
  • Experience with Converged and Hyper Converged Infrastructure is preferred.
  • Data center and server migrations/consolidation experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of application interoperability and compliance standards such as HIPAA.
