HealthTECH Resources is seeking an experienced Revenue Integrity Coordinator for a fully remote direct hire position with a leading healthcare system based in Nevada. This role focuses on ensuring charge capture integrity and compliance within the hospital’s Epic EHR system.
Opportunity Details
- Fully remote position
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pacific Time
- Weekend requirement: One weekend day every two weeks (2 days per month)
- 40 hours per week guaranteed
- Competitive hourly rate
- Training period: 4-8 weeks (with flexibility after training completion)
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with revenue-producing departments to review, validate, and document charge practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory billing and compliance guidelines.
- Create flow charts and documentation for charge practices across departments.
- Maintain issues log of findings, issues, and action plans.
- Provide training based on audit findings and corrective action plans.
- Represent the organization during chart audits by external vendors.
- Assist with onboarding new business entities to Epic charge master.
- Review departmental work queues to ensure compliance.
- Support Revenue Integrity Specialists in resolving claim edits.
- Participate in new service and product analysis, including ROI assessments.
Key Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in hospital finance or patient financial services.
- Experience with Epic EHR systems required.
- Knowledge of charge description master and charge capture processes.
- Understanding of clinical charge practices, billing rules, and claims processes.
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and medical terminology preferred.
- Experience with Epic charge capture or clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
