HealthTECH Resources is seeking an experienced Quality Improvement Program Manager for a 3-month contract opportunity with a leading healthcare system in the southern Los Angeles, CA area. This position focuses on driving clinical excellence through effective quality improvement initiatives.
Opportunity Summary
- Contract duration: Late May 2025 – Late August 2025
- Full-time position (40 hours/week)
- Onsite in southern Los Angeles, CA area

Primary Responsibilites
- Lead hospital quality improvement initiatives to achieve organizational performance goals.
- Coach and train teams in the utilization of improvement tools and implementation.
- Develop guidelines, process measures, targets, and standards for monitoring result.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to improve clinical quality.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to deliver measurable improvements.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business/Healthcare Administration, or Life Sciences.
- 5+ years experience in performance/process improvement projects.
- Demonstrated expertise with improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- In-depth experience in clinical quality improvement in a hospital inpatient setting.
- Experience with quality outcome metrics (readmissions, mortality, hospital-acquired conditions).
- Familiarity with key driver diagrams, pareto charts, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Public Health.
- Certifications in Lean and/or Six Sigma Methodology.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- 7+ years experience in performance/process improvement projects.
