Quality Improvement Program Manager

HealthTECH Resources is seeking an experienced Quality Improvement Program Manager for a 3-month contract opportunity with a leading healthcare system in the southern Los Angeles, CA area. This position focuses on driving clinical excellence through effective quality improvement initiatives.

Opportunity Summary

• Contract duration: Late May 2025 – Late August 2025
• Full-time position (40 hours/week)
• Onsite in southern Los Angeles, CA area

Primary Responsibilites

• Lead hospital quality improvement initiatives to achieve organizational performance goals.
• Coach and train teams in the utilization of improvement tools and implementation.
• Develop guidelines, process measures, targets, and standards for monitoring result.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities to improve clinical quality.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to deliver measurable improvements.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business/Healthcare Administration, or Life Sciences.
• 5+ years experience in performance/process improvement projects.
• Demonstrated expertise with improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• In-depth experience in clinical quality improvement in a hospital inpatient setting.
• Experience with quality outcome metrics (readmissions, mortality, hospital-acquired conditions).
• Familiarity with key driver diagrams, pareto charts, and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Public Health.
• Certifications in Lean and/or Six Sigma Methodology.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• 7+ years experience in performance/process improvement projects.
