Epic Revenue Cycle Manager

HealthTECH Resources is seeking an Epic Revenue Cycle Manager for a full-time direct hire role at a renowned health care organization in the Tampa, FL area. Interested candidates should have Epic certification and 3 to 5 years of hands-on build experience in Epic Resolute HB/PB.

What are the main duties of the Epic Revenue Cycle Manager?

  • We are looking for a hands on, collaborative Manager to be an advisor to our client’s Revenue Cycle stakeholders. This position is strategic and is expected to be a driver of change for revenue enhancements, with the ability to articulate how operational workflow changes will affect current system build.
    • Analyzes products and recommends the use of new technologies and services to senior management.
    • Manages application access and use.
    • Establishes and implements policies and procedures for application acquisition and usage throughout the institution.
    • Assigns work to application Project Leaders and analysts.
    • Recruits, maintains and supervises a workforce for acquisition and support of computer system applications. Counsels, appraises, disciplines and rewards employees. Oversees payroll for assigned employees.
    • Prepares activity, progress, quality and trend reports.

Epic Revenue Cycle Manager Skills/Experience

  • Current Epic Resolute and or Professional Billing (PB) Certification(s) required.
    • Epic Claims certification a plus but not required.
  • 3 to 5 years hands-on build in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB) required.
  • 5-7 years progressive management and supervisory experience with Epic Financial modules required.
  • Operational experience in all aspects of the Revenue Cycle: Accounts receivable, Accounts payable, Charge Capture, Claims processing, Statements, Account follow-up for both insurance and self-pay and reimbursement analysis.
  • Experience in leading healthcare business applications selections, implementation, and tracking projects to successful execution.
  • Managing and leading staff, and collaborating with the customer base, as well as experience in preparing and managing budgets.
  • Experience writing and implementing department policies and procedures required.
